Meet our summer interns!

Summer interns Kyocera

Anton, Urho and Yuta started their internships in May and June. Now, after a while of settling in, it was time to ask how the summer has started.

Anton has finished his second year at Aalto University. He studies Computer Science and has a knowledge of computers, algorithms, mathematics and practical software development. He works as an IT trainee, maintaining and developing the IT infrastructure needed for product development. Anton applied to Kyocera Technologies because he is interested in working with advanced Finnish technology. He particularly praises the relaxed and flexible working atmosphere.

Urho is a Master’s student in technical physics and is part of our test engineering team where he tests our wafers after different processes as well as analyzes how the different property values have changed. Urho says he has a broader understanding of everything now as this is his fifth summer at Kyocera Technologies. He is looking forward to learning new things and having a good summer with his colleagues.

Yuta is a 1st year Master’s degree student at Tohoku University in Japan. He is studying mechanical engineering and is part of the design team during his summer internship at Kyocera Technologies. He is working on analyzing the statistics of the frequency-temperature characteristics over a wafer of ultra high doped silicon and proposing improvements. Yuta is very excited to be working with a diverse and friendly team of professionals in Kyocera Technologies. He is looking forward to exploring Finland, and would also like to visit other European countries at weekends.

We wish the interns a great summer! ☀️
